The heavy rains that hit the state of Minas Gerais in late December and early January still have consequences in the impacted cities.
Less storms have occurred in recent days, but even so, the rains continue to harm the mining road system. This Thursday (20) there are still 103 road points with partial or total blockage of vehicle traffic.
There are blocks on Fernão Dias (BR-381), one of the main roads in the region, which connects Belo Horizonte to Greater São Paulo, in regions close to João Monlevade (Km 342), Brumadinho (Km 527) and Nova Era (Km 321) .
The Military Highway and Federal Highway Police (PRF) mapped the interdictions on federal, state and municipal roads, which until Thursday morning indicated the presence of 17 places where crossing is impossible, due to structural damage and blockages, and 86 where traffic is restricted.
On the Military Police website it is possible to check the interdiction points on the highways of Minas Gerais.
