Rainy weather gives respite and intense cold approaches Porto Alegre this Monday, says Climatempo

The rain is expected to decrease in Greater Porto Alegre this Monday (13), according to Climatempo. Throughout the day, a gradual reduction in precipitation is expected, with moderate rain between dawn and morning, decreasing in the afternoon and ceasing at night. The total rainfall predicted by Climatempo is 15 millimeters.

From Tuesday (14), dry weather is expected to predominate in the Porto Alegre region, with sun present for most of the day. The return of rain is expected for Thursday (16).

As for temperatures, the meteorology institute indicates that this Monday they will fluctuate between 15°C and 19°C, decreasing on Tuesday to between 11°C and 16°C, with the possibility of establishing a new double temperature record minimum and maximum.

The early hours of Wednesday (15) are expected to be the coldest of the year so far, with a forecast minimum temperature of 8°C and a maximum of just 15°C. There is the possibility of establishing a new double record for low temperatures that day.

The meteorology institute also reports that polar air will enter Rio Grande do Sul with force from this Monday onwards, removing rain clouds from almost the entire state, but causing a sharp drop in temperature.

Forecasts indicate that most Gauchos will have sunshine until Wednesday (15), however, with the arrival of polar air, the temperature will remain low practically all day.
