RAKIB has created a working group to develop a mining energy efficiency standard

On September 6, the CRYPTO-SUMMIT.RF was held in the Digital Business Space of Moscow, organized by the Russian Association of Cryptoeconomics, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain (RACIB) and Synergy Corporation.

The purpose of the summit is the development of the digital environment, the legalization of mining and other activities related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The participants of the event discussed the introduction of blockchain in the public sector, the legalization of cryptocurrencies and the established technological chains of the industry in the country, the practice of introducing digital financial assets (DFA) and digital currencies of central banks (CDBC), shifting attention to the metaverses, the advent of the NFT era and mass tokenization and gamification of the real world using digital tools. The summit also discussed issues of training and education in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, the development of financial infrastructure and investments in the “digit”, as well as security issues in the digital world.

At the CRYPTO-SUMMIT.RF partner of Vekus Mining Development, which is part of the Vekus group of companies, Yuri Kudryashov, Director of the Research Institute for Sustainable Development in Construction (ANO NIURS) Vera Burtseva and Strategic Marketing Director of Vekus Group of Companies Daniil Shpeichler made a presentation, as a result of which, together with RAKIB, a working group of industry experts was created to develop a mining energy efficiency standard. The standard, which is scheduled for release in February 2023, will allow developers and operators of mining sites to guarantee investors maximum uptime, which will increase the efficiency of cryptocurrency mining and increase the profitability of mining.

“Thanks to a scientific approach and computer modeling of temperature and speed fields, it will be possible to improve the quality of engineering solutions for mining modules: to calculate filtration and ventilation systems, taking into account indicators of humidity, temperature, season, region and place where the mining container will be installed,” – noted Yuri Kudryashov.

According to Vera Burtseva, the members of the working group will jointly develop a standard that will eliminate frequent shutdowns of equipment for its maintenance, reduce downtime due to extreme weather conditions, reduce maintenance costs, and increase the operating time and service life of the equipment.” The standard will be included in the Green Zoom national system of sustainable development in construction, which is already used in housing construction, the tourism industry, as well as in the creation of classic data centers.
