Yesterday, June 18, the developers from Activision officially presented the trailer for the upcoming update for the third season of Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, which will be released on May 20. In this update, as expected by gamers, two new operators will appear in the game – the protagonist of the movie “Rambo” and John McClain from “Die Hard”. Activision even said that when creating new operators, character designers worked with Studio Canal and Disney to recreate the heroes of the cult films and their weapons with maximum realism. In the English version of the shooter, these characters will even speak phrases from the films (in the Russian version, this probably will not happen).
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get new operatives in-game – you will need to buy them in the digital store. There will also be two new packs available for purchase for a limited time. In addition, the developers talked about impressive reworkings and innovations for both Battle Royale and Cold War multiplayer. In Warzone, for example, there will be new points of interest and locations – a high-rise building, a CIA post and a military camp. For multiplayer, two new maps have been prepared – Standoff for a 6v6 battle and Duga for a multi-team. Also in multiplayer there will be three new modes and three new medals, thematically stylized for the current update.
But the new weapon disappointed – gamers will be provided with a baseball bat, a ballistic knife and an AMP63 pistol. Additionally, representatives of Activision announced a new quest and modes for “Zombies”, and also announced a thematic event for Call of Duty: Mobile – Rambo will also appear there. Naturally, along with a major update, the balance of weapons will be reworked, as well as bugs fixed – perhaps they will no longer be allowed to fall under the textures.
