Raoul Bova: «In 2023 on the set of “Don Matteo 14”. The responsibility will be greater»

Raul Bova is the protagonist together with Serena Autieri of comedy The Christmas Show by Alberto Ferrari (in cinemas from 17 November). «A romantic tale about Christmas full of hope,” says the di actor Don Matteo. Bova plays Pierrea famous writer who has been observing the world from the window of his house for five years, from which he sees a dull house, without lights, where they live Sofia (Autieri), for several years broken by grief over the death of her husband, and children Ricky and Alice, who hate Christmas. But this time there is something different in the air: Alice signs up the family for a reality show which will lead them to live a unique experience and Christmas, and to get to know their neighbor Pierre. Bova tells us how he spent Christmas as a child «They were beautiful, full of joy, I celebrated them with my parents and grandparents», she recalls, «in recent years I have I suffered from missing the people I love and that they are no more. As a son, you experience Christmas in another way, as a father through the eyes of his childreni, you see in them that light and curiosity that I also had in mine. They have brought out the child in me.” However Raoul has never dressed up as Santa Claus: «I have my relatives do it so as not to spoil the surprise»», he explains, «they would immediately recognize me by looking me in the eyes and I would never want to give such a disappointment.

December 25th is approaching and Bova will spend it «with his family», he confesses, «I will take with me the memories of the past, of the pandemic, because we must not forget, and above all I will think of this absurd one war that is being foughtto the Ukrainians, with the hope that in the near future they will breathe an air of peace, but also to us Italians who I invite you to think more to love».
