“I just looked at the timeline for the spread and adoption of the Internet, and a similar timeline for the cryptocurrency industry fits well with it. With the only exception that when the number of Internet users was 150 million, like the cryptocurrency now, it grew by 63% per year. And the adoption of cryptocurrencies is growing by 113% per year. That is, the number of cryptocurrency users is growing twice as fast. If the trend continues, then by 2024 more than 1 billion people will use digital assets, and by the end of the decade the figure was 3.5 or 4 billion. ”
The former top manager of Goldman Sachs also recalled that the capitalization of large asset classes, such as stocks, bonds or real estate, ranges from $ 150 trillion to $ 300 trillion. And the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market may well grow 100 times to reach approximately the same levels.
