Rapper A $ AP Rocky goes to court for trial for alleged gun fight

The rapper A $ Ap Rocky arrived at a court in Los Angeles on Tuesday (11) for trial for two accusations of “aggression with semi-automatic weapon.”

Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is accused of pointing out a weapon for Terell Ephron, another artist and former friend of the artist, during a heated discussion, and then throwing twice in the direction of Ephron during a second confrontation .

Both cases occurred on November 6, 2021.

The Harlem -born musician, whose partner is singer Rihanna, declared himself innocent.

During a hearing on January 24, prosecutor Paul Przelomiec informed Judge Mark S. Arnold that he offered a court agreement to the rapper.

The proposal included 180 days in prison, if he declared himself guilty of one of the accusations, in addition to three years on parole, a seven -year suspended penalty, 480 hours of community services and participation in a treatment for emotions management, lasting one year.

The artist refused the proposal of the agreement. If considered guilty during the trial, Rocky can face a sentence of up to 24 years .
