Who is Future Hendrix? 

Future Hendrix is an American song writer, rapper and record producer. He was born in 1983, in the state of Georgia as Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn. Nayvadius started using his stage name, Future, when he joined The Dungeon, a musical collective in Atlanta.

Hendrix had loved music from an early age. To help him explore his potential in the musical arena, his cousin Rico Wade encouraged Hendrix to polish his songwriting and rapping skills.

In the same year, Future found his own record label by the name of Freebandz. In 2012 he released Pluto, his first debut album.

Four singles from Hendrix’s first album gained popularity. ‘Turn on the lights’ from the album made it to the second position on US hip hop and r&b charts. It was Magic, a track from the same album featuring T.I that went on to become his first track to enter the Billboard hot 100 list. 

Between the years of 204 and 2020, every mixtape that Future Hendrix has released has made its way to the Billboard top 200 list.

Hendrix’s net worth stands at an astounding $40 million currently. The money comes from tours, brand promotions and mostly from the streaming of his music. 

On a yearly basis, his songs are streamed more than a billion times on services like Spotify and Apple Music. Some reports claim that he is paid $150,000 for a 45 minute long performance and $40,000 to be featured in a song. 

High end brands also pay the star heavy sums of money for brand endorsement. This includes Reebok and Rolex. 

Future and Controversies 

The rapper is often the talk of the town, for one reason or another. The rapper has fathered a total of six children, all with different women. There could be more of Future’s offspring, according to claims put forth by two other women. Both the women decided to take the rapper to court. While one of the ladies eventually agreed to a settlement, the other has decided to go on to prove that she is the mother or future’s child.  

Wilburn’s relationship with singer and model, Ciara Princess Wilson was a highly talked about one. The couple was going steady and even got engaged. However, the relationship ended only three months after the two welcomed their son, also named Future, in 2014. 

Currently Hendrix is said to be dating Lori Harvey, the step daughter of Steve Harvey.
