Senator Marcelo Castro (MDB-PI) closed the text of the report on the amendments of the rapporteur’s amendments in which he does not place numbers, but determines that the value does not exceed the sum of the individual amendments and the tax amendments.
According to Castro, he heard congressmen and technical consultants from Congress to formulate the text, which will be filed in the Congress system before the vote scheduled for this Monday (29).
Currently, among the types of amendments, the rapporteur has surpassed the others. For this year alone, the forecast reaches R$ 30 billion.
Despite defending the lock, Castro did not pick a fight with other congressmen to numerically impose the limit of the rapporteur’s amendments.
According to the text of the senator, the maximum amount will be defined in the Mixed Budget Committee (CMO), as long as the limit of other amendments is respected.
On Monday, several senators called the rapporteur to ask questions and make suggestions.
For senator Alessandro Vieira (Cidadania-SE), the rapporteur’s amendments should be limited to 1% of the budget. As for senators, such as Álvaro Dias (Podemos-PR), the amendments should no longer exist.
