The presenter Raul Gil 86, denied rumors about his possible retirement and departure from SBT the channel on which he has run the “Raul Gil Program” for 14 years.
“You are worried that Raul Gil will leave, the last program. When I said ‘the last program’, it was the last program of the year”, clarified the presenter in a video published on his social media profile.
“I’m recording the New Year’s program, I’ve already recorded the Christmas program, and then I’m going to take a vacation, but 2025 is another year”, he said.
Raul Gil also added: “The day I leave SBT I’m going to tell everyone, okay? There’s no need to worry that I’m going to leave.”

A few months ago, Raul Gil had commented on retiring at the end of 2024, but last month he had already ruled out the possibility.
“Only when I die. I’ve thought about retiring, but I can’t, because the stage is my life. I spoke there [programa do] Luciano Huck […] I was thinking about stopping, but then I won’t stop anymore”, he said in October on the program “The Noite”, led by Danilo Gentili.
THE CNN tries to contact SBT to comment on the rumors about Raul Gil’s departure from the station, but has not yet received a response.
