Razer launches RGB gaming cooler for iPhone with MagSafe and stylish cable

Avid fans of mobile gaming periodically complain that their smartphones overheat during long gaming sessions. This is definitely physically unpleasant, plus overheating of the device affects the overall performance, but Razer decided to fix this problem. Yesterday, December 7, a well-known manufacturer of gaming peripherals officially introduced a special mobile cooler called Phone Cooler Chroma, which is sold for $ 60 – the device, according to Razer, will keep the smartphone in an acceptable temperature range even when launching especially difficult projects.

It is worth noting that the conditional flagship of Razer is Phone Cooler Chroma for the new iPhone 12 and 13 – this cooler model is equipped with MagSafe technology, so that the active cooling system is securely attached to the back of the smartphone without additional fasteners and clamps. However, Razer has taken care of the owners of Android devices, as well as those gamers who use older versions of the iPhone – there is an opportunity to order a universal cooler version without MagSafe on the website. However, its cost is exactly the same – $ 60. At the same time, the rest of the functions of the models are identical.

For example, the Razer Phone Cooler Chroma, as you might guess from the name, supports RGB lighting, which is controlled via Bluetooth – it looks quite stylish. The gadget itself is a construction of a seven-blade fan of the proprietary design, which, even with sufficiently effective cooling, remains quiet – the official website states that the maximum noise level is 30 dB. And in the kit there is a rather stylish USB Type-C cable, because the device, of course, runs on external power. And although the gadget was presented only yesterday, it is already available for purchase – in the near future the cooler will be brought to Russia as well. The only question is how effective it is in practice – after all, the cooler is located on the back of the gadget, and not inside the smartphone itself.
