The official website states that the device was created for the PlayStation, and the color scheme of the case is very similar to the PlayStation 5, but in fact this is not entirely true, because both versions of the gaming headset work not only with PS4 / PS5, but also with a PC and even mobile devices (tablets and smartphones). So this is a fairly versatile product that will be of interest to a gamer with several supported gaming platforms.
The basic version of the Razer Kaira received a proprietary microphone Razer Hyperclear Cardioid, which transmits the user’s voice fairly well without distortion and mutations. The device is also equipped with 50mm Razer TriForce speakers, operates on a single battery charge for up to 30 hours, and can also connect to a signal source via Bluetooth and WiFi (2.4 GHz) – the kit comes with a proprietary 4-in-1 whistle connector, which connects via USB Type-C. The Kaira Pro has much more bonuses – there is the same microphone and similar speakers, but already Razer TriForce Titanium, and the proprietary Razer HyperSense technology is also implemented.
Proprietary from Razer, wireless headphones can analyze soundstages to transform sound into immersive vibrations. This feature significantly increases the level of immersion in the virtual world in absolutely any video games – in shooters, for example, vibration indicates the location of the enemy. At the same time, the top version features Razer Chroma RGB lighting, which can be configured via a smartphone in a special Razer Audio app. In battery mode, the headphone battery lasts already for 50 hours (with the backlight and vibration off) or for 11 hours with the activation of all the features of the gadget.
Pre-orders for the Razer Kaira and Kaira Pro will start on November 30 – the top version costs $ 200, headphones without the Pro console will cost $ 100. The cost of the new item on the territory of Russia has not yet been indicated.
