The singer Roberto Carlos, 83, premieres this Friday (20) End of year special from TV Globo. Traditional at every end of the year, this year’s event will still be a celebration 50 years of its existence. The show was recorded at the Allianz Parque stadium, in São Paulo, at the end of November.
The show will revisit different phases of the King’s career through his hits. The repertoire ranges from “This Guy I Am” and “You Need to Know How to Live” even classics like “Details” and “When” . Also maintaining tradition, Roberto Carlos welcomes friends who have marked his trajectory.
Among the participations, Gilberto Gil , Zeca Pagodinho , Wanderlea, Chitãozinho & Xororó , Paulo Ricardo and Frejat take the stage alongside the artist. Guests must also sing songs from their respective discographies.
The Italian singer Andrea Bocelli will also appear in a special appearance on the program: an exclusive meeting with Roberto Carlos recorded during his visit to Brazil in May this year.
The actresses Sophie Charlotte, Leticia Colin and Dira Paes are also present with performances by “Olha” and “Como Vai Você”.
How to watch
The special should start at 10:40 pm on TV Globo, right after the soap opera “Mania de Você” airs.
