RDR 2 and Red Dead Online Get 45% Performance Boost With NVIDIA DLSS

Rockstar has rolled out an update for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online called Blood Miney, which will provide a significant performance boost when installed. True, only the owners of NVIDIA GeForce RTX video cards will notice it, since the claimed 45% increase in performance in 4K mode is the merit of NVIDIA DLSS technology.

Thanks to the implementation of NVIDIA DLSS support, all gamers with any GeForce RTX series card installed on their computer can count on playing Red Dead Redemption 2 at maximum settings with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a speed of over 60 frames per second. For users of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti cards and above, the maximum settings and refresh rate over 60 fps are available at a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. But on a PC with GeForce RTX 3070 and higher video cards, you can play at maximum settings and a refresh rate of more than 60 frames per second in a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels.

NVIDIA and Rockstar have prepared a video that clearly demonstrates the smoothness of animation when switching to DLSS technology, which means super-sampling using deep learning or an anti-aliasing system.
