Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon and Bahrain reacted strongly to Turkey’s attempt to pass through the decisions of the Islamic Cooperation Organization that met on the weekend in Constantinople, in the presence of T. Thrace’s minority and the “Turkish” community of the Dodecanese. As reflected in OIC’s decisions, the delegations of these countries expressed reservations about paragraph 24 of the Constantinople Declaration on Turkish Cypriots and paragraph 25 on the “Turkish” Muslim minority in Western Thrace and the Muslim population in Greece.
