Gymnastics influencer María del Mar Pérez Banus has been accused of insulting Japanese culture after performing an acrobatic routine at a sacred temple. As reported by the New York Post, the 25-year-old influencer, who has 140 thousand followers on her Instagram profile, did some exercises at a Torii, a symbolic gate that marks the entrance to a Shinto shrine.
