The PT presents this Tuesday (21) the final version of the document with the guidelines for the government program of the presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The content, which CNN had access, has changes, in relation to the previous version, in passages rejected by the other parties that make up the left front in support of the Lula-Alckmin ticket.
The document, called “Guidelines for Brazil’s Reconstruction and Transformation Program”, will be launched this Tuesday, in São Paulo, along with a virtual platform that will allow the population to send suggestions and hold debates on the guidelines.
In the previous version of the guidelines, the PT proposed the repeal of the reform approved in the government of then President Michel Temer (MDB). Now, the document informs that the government will broadly discuss and propose a new labor law, suggesting the repeal of regressive milestones of the current legislation.
The new proposal also indicates the intention to restructure unions, aiming at union autonomy and collective bargaining. Previously, the text referred to the valorization of the unions, without the return of the union tax.
