Contra has officially announced that the legendary game Contra is returning to iPhone and Android smartphones in the form of a remake called Contra Returns with new graphics.
It is worth making a clarification right away: back in June 2017, the game Contra: Return was released in China. Now the publisher is releasing a new and improved version called Contra Returns, which will be available for iOS and Android users in North America, Latin America and European countries on July 26 this year.
Pre-registrations have started on the App Store and Google Play, and are eligible for exclusive in-game rewards.
Konami is promising an “authentic new look” for the series along with “new graphics, gameplay improvements and more.” The game will feature customizable weapons, as well as new characters and storyline.
Contra Returns will include over 200 levels, new game modes including 1v1 multiplayer and even 3v3.
