Realme UI 4.0 global version announced. Key Features and Deployment Timelines

Just over three months have passed since the release of Android 13, but only a handful of smartphone manufacturers have announced their intention to update the software for their devices. Some brands choose to release new versions alongside their flagship smartphones. Among them is Realme, which is going to officially introduce the Realme UI 4.0 shell based on Android 13 to the international market at the same time as the release of the global versions of Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro +. This will take place on December 8, but a lot is already known, including the rollout schedule for the update.

Realme UI 4.0 design has been greatly improved. This will be especially felt by users who run many applications daily. The shell has a “card” interface and a new set of clearer icons, so everything is grouped in one place and intuitive. With the addition of new colored wallpapers, as well as shadows and reflection effects, the interface has taken on a more dynamic look.

The Always On Display feature has also been redesigned. There are interactive panels, personalized recommendations, and animated emoji that you can use according to your mood.

An equally important change concerns privacy. For the company, this is still a deciding factor, which is why Realme has added a new tool called Private Safe. It uses high-tech encryption for user data. In addition, the Auto Pixelate feature detects confidential information on images (screenshots) in instant messengers and makes it anonymous.

The Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro + will be the first to receive the global version of Realme UI 4.0.
