TV Record/RealTime Big Data poll on the election for the governor of Rio Grande do Norte released this Tuesday (28), shows the current governor, Fátima Bezerra, ahead, with 39% of voting intentions. Elections are scheduled for October.
Following are the current senator Styvenson Valentim (Podemos), with 14%, and the former vice-governor Fábio Dantas (Solidarity), with 12%. The two are technically tied within the margin of error, which is plus or minus three percentage points.
The other names that appear in the survey are Clorisa Linhares (PMB), 3%; Wesli Natal Zuera (DC), 1%; Rosália Fernandes (PSTU), 1%; and Daniel Morais (PSOL), 0%. Whites and nulls total 17%, and 13% say they do not know or have not responded to the survey.
As the sum of the percentage of the other pre-candidates does not reach 50%, the research scenario would lead to the governor being reelected in the first round.
RealTime did not simulate runoff scenarios for the state government.
1,500 voters were interviewed by telephone between the 25th and 27th of June. The survey was registered with the Electoral Court under the code RN-01637/2022. According to the institute, the confidence level of the survey is 95%.
