Reborn baby store in Curitiba is invaded and suspects take R$55,000 worth of dolls

Two men broke into a reborn baby store, in the Juvevê neighborhood, in Curitiba (PR), in the early hours of this Monday (30). The establishment’s security cameras recorded the suspects’ actions, which caused a loss of R$55,000 to the business owner.

Reborn dolls are known for replicating the real appearance of a child.

In a video published by the owner of the establishment Aline Lima, together with the doll artist Vivi Louhrinci, the two reported that the suspects broke a glass in the store’s window, managing to enter the store and taking several dolls, as well as the establishment’s cell phone.

As reported to CNN the two believe that those responsible for the robbery had information about the establishment and had been observing the place for some time, as the store has not even been open for a month.

According to the information, when the store opened the protective grille on the window it was not ready, but there was no longer any possibility of postponing the opening of the store, due to the proximity of Children’s Day. The establishment only had four security cameras.

In the images taken, it is possible to see a man on a bicycle with a backpack approaching the window. After a few minutes, the camera captures another suspect inside the store moving the items, while the first man approaches the bicycle again outside the store with a bag. Watch the videos:
