Apple released on October 11 an update to the iOS 15.0.2 operating system for iPhone smartphones, which was designed to fix various bugs. However, in addition to fixes, users also received a new “headache” – more and more complaints from car owners appear on the network.
After installing iOS 15.0.2, users of CarPlay-enabled cars started complaining about problems. The CarPlay app refuses to load when trying to connect the smartphone to the car system.
The only consolation is that the CarPlay crash does not affect the ability to charge the iPhone when connected via a cable to the head unit.
Apple has not yet come up with a working solution to the problem, nor has it acknowledged the problem itself. The official Apple forums suggest changing the way you connect to CarPlay or re-setting your car connection (Settings> General> CarPlay, Forget Car). However, these methods are not very helpful to the victims.
