Last week, Chen Jing, general manager of Lenovo’s China mobile phone business, announced that the next Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone will be the world’s most powerful, innovative and coolest gaming phone.
Now the device has been certified by the 3C regulator, which confirms that the new Lenovo Legion 2 has two versions with support for 45- and 65-watt charging. Last year, the Lenovo Legion used a dual-cell dual USB-C solution to charge two batteries at the same time. In this case, the total charging power was 90 W (2 x 45 W). The Lenovo Legion 2 is set to be a record-breaking 130W (2 x 65W) fast wired charging smartphone this year.

The novelty has also appeared in the database of the popular Geekbench test application, which confirms that the smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and is equipped with 16 GB of RAM. The Lenovo Legion 2 smartphone runs the Android 11 operating system and scored 1130 and 3779 points in the Geekbench single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
The smartphone has 14 temperature sensors that monitor heating in real time and regulate the operation of the cooling system. The smartphone will not overheat even during long gaming sessions.
The presentation of new items is expected in the near future.
