The situation is very difficult with the pandemic that literally seems to be galloping on Ukraine. In the previous 24 hours, 26,870 cases were recorded, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health. That number surpassed the previous record of 26,701 infections recorded yesterday.
According to the ministry, 648 people died due to covid-19 in the previous 24 hours. A total of 2.9 million cases of covid-19 and 70,475 deaths have been reported in Ukraine (according to John’s Hopkins).
The measures imposed are stricter. Residents of Kiev will have to show vaccination certificates to enter restaurants, gyms and public transport from Monday. From 1 November, restaurants, gyms, shops and entertainment venues will be operational once all staff have been vaccinated.
