The federal, civil, military and criminal police triggered, on Monday (20), Operation Patrinus Malus against the carioca faction Red command in Brasilia.
Investigations are an offshoot of the fragment operation and aim to prevent the financial and territorial expansion of the criminal group in the Federal District and the surroundings.
About 80 police officers serve 29 search and seizure warrants. Judicial orders are being met in administrative regions of DF (Taguatinga, Ceilândia and Itapoã), in the municipality of Valparaiso de Goiás (GO), and in cells of the Papuda Penitentiary Complex.
The investigators say that from the analysis of the information elements collected in previous phases of the investigations it was possible to identify the structure maintained by the investigated group, focused on the widening of new members and the defense of illicit interests of the criminal faction.
The actions also aim to prevent coordinated crimes and repress any attempts to territorial domain.
