Chinese certification bodies have released new details about the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro smartphones. It turns out that they have exactly the same dimensions (163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8 mm) and are equipped with screens of the same diagonal – 6.67 inches. It turns out that on the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro the company will work out the same approach as with the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro: they are also equipped with the same screens and, accordingly, their dimensions will not differ either.
The capacity of the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro batteries is 4420 mAh. Obviously, these models will not become monsters of autonomy, and the battery life can be predicted now: it will not differ much from the battery life of the Xiaomi Mi 11. According to the 3C regulator, both new Redmi products will be equipped with 33W chargers.
Recall that the Redmi K40 is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, while the Redmi K40 Pro is built on the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The cost of the former starts at $ 310, the cost of the latter starts at $ 465. New items will be presented soon – on February 25.
