Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max received Dolby Atmos support and equalizer

As it became known, Xiaomi has released an update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max smartphones, which originally came out in India with the MIUI number V12.5.4.0.RKFINXM.

The official changelog says that the firmware adds Dolby effects, fixes the notification issue and raises the level of security patches until May 2021, although it’s already August.

The source clarifies that “Dolby effects” is actually Dolby Atmos support. In addition, smartphones received an equalizer: users can choose any of the presets or adjust the sound to their liking.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC. Smartphones are equipped with 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen, Full HD + resolution, 120 Hz frame rate, 1200 cd / m2 peak brightness2 and HDR10 support. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 tempered glass.

Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are essentially the same model with the only difference that the resolution of the main sensor in the camera of Redmi Note 10 Pro is 64 megapixels, while Redmi Note 10 Pro Max received a 108 megapixel sensor.
