The Redmi K60 line of flagship smartphones is the first in the arsenal of the brand’s mobile devices to receive support for wireless charging. This was announced on his page on the social network Weibo by the CEO of the company, Lu Weibing. In particular, he published a post in which he promised to popularize this technology and will start doing so with the launch of Redmi K60.
The head of Redmi stated that such chargers were very expensive in the past, however, the upcoming Redmi charger will be available to everyone as it will cost only $7. True, such a price, apparently, will only be valid when buying a K60 series smartphone.
At the moment, it is known that wireless charging from Redmi will be able to transfer up to 30 watts of energy. The accessory will be designed in such a way that the air circulates as efficiently as possible, providing high-quality heat dissipation. In addition, the device will receive intelligent recognition of connected gadgets to adjust the current parameters.
By the way, Xiaomi already has smartphones with support for wireless charging. The first was Mi MIX 2S, announced in 2018. Now the company has a couple of dozen such models, including the recent flagships Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
