Reduced by 30% of immigrant arrivals in Europe in 2025 – where NGOs perform the development

Irregular cross -border crossings decreased by 30% in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period last year. Human rights groups attribute this development partly to EU policies, which emphasize deterrence, while “turning a blind eye” to the risk of violations of rights. The decline was observed on all the main migratory routes to Europe, the EU Frontex border service said in a statement, and stood at nearly 33,600 fewer arrivals in the first three months of the year. The largest decrease, by 64%, occurred along the routes crossing Albania, Serbia, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, while crossings to the United Kingdom declined by 4%, the British Guardian said.
