Those interested in participating in the first stage of the National Exam for the Revalidation of Medical Diplomas Issued by a Foreign Higher Education Institution (Revalida) 2024/2 must register, through the Revalida System, by next Friday (28). The deadline also applies to requests for specialized service and treatment by social name.
According to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), in this edition the medical degree diploma must be sent only after registration, during the appeal period for preliminary versions, scheduled for between August 28th and September 1st.
If you do not have a diploma, the participant may present a declaration or certificate of course completion.
“Both documents must be issued by a foreign higher education institution, recognized in the country of origin by the Ministry of Education or equivalent body, and authenticated by the Brazilian consular authority or by the process of the Convention on the Elimination of the Requirement for Legalization of Foreign Public Documents .”
Also according to Inep, the declaration or certificate of course completion must contain proof of completion of the entire mandatory curricular component of the medical course taken abroad, including any internships, mandatory internships and/or final graduation exams, in addition to specific mention regarding the condition for issuing the diploma in progress.
Documentation proving course completion in a language other than Portuguese, English, French or Spanish must be accompanied by a sworn translation.

The Revalida tests take place on August 25th in Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Campo Grande, Curitiba, Porto Velho, Recife, Rio Branco, Salvador and São Paulo. Check out the full schedule:
