Reinvented “zebra”: in Russia released the first batch of smart projectors

Today, on the official website of the Ruselectronics holding, which is part of the Rostec state corporation, information has appeared about the first delivery of a batch of the latest smart gobo projectors developed in Russia to the logistics operator Gazpromneft-Supply. These LED projectors allow you to effectively replace the standard object navigation with projection images – according to the developers, they are more visible to humans and have a higher level of security. In addition, Russian projectors have already been installed at one of the production facilities in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The specialists explained that the latest gobo projectors, which are used at the production base in the city of Korotchaevo, are able to project pedestrian crossings and a stop line, thereby replacing the standard road markings. The main advantage of this solution is that the projection is noticeable in all weather conditions, as the light beam boasts a brightness of 330 lux. Accordingly, it can be seen from a distance of two hundred meters, even in fog, heavy rain or snow – the usual road markings in this case, of course, are almost useless.

A corresponding projection arises due to the passage of a light beam through a special gobo layout created on the basis of glass, metal and film. As a result, it turns out to form a static image of a sufficiently high quality, and even on absolutely any plane. Experts noted that the high brightness of the generated image allows for flexible customization of the final image, replacing not only the pedestrian crossing and the stop line, but also various signs, arrows, markings of industrial premises and even signs for special equipment.

In addition, the creators of the project equipped it with a smart system for switching on and off based on a light sensor – this allows you to significantly save electricity at facilities during non-working hours. Also, the latest gobo projectors are equipped with a system of protection against low temperatures and water – the novelty is able to work even in very aggressive weather conditions, although maintenance is not required. And if the technology shows its best side, then in the future Rostec plans to use the latest projectors outside of production – for example, Orel already uses road crossing lighting complexes.
