Samsung has already updated many of its Galaxy M series models to Android 11, and now it’s finally the Galaxy M40. This smartphone came out in mid-2019 with preinstalled Android 9.0, and now it has received Android 11 with another update – so far in India, but within a few weeks, obviously, in other countries too.
The new firmware is numbered M405FDDU2CUC6 and contains the March security updates. The One UI has also been updated, but the source does not specify the version – it could be One UI 3.0 or One UI 3.1.
