Remember endings and reconciliations in the country world in 2023

In 2023, new couples from the country world revealed themselves, but at the same time, breakups and reconciliations had repercussions on the networks. Among the couples that were most talked about are Ana Castela, artist who led the retrospectives on digital platforms this year, and Gustavo Mioto, singer of the same genre.

Although they are back together, they ended their relationship and the same happened with Maraisa, Maiara's partner. The country singer only revealed to her fans that she resumed her engagement this Christmas, after appearing alongside businessman Fernando Mocó during dinner. Maiara remains single after announcing, in October, that she broke up with country singer Matheus Gabriel, after four months of dating.

In addition to the recent breakups, Naiara Azevedo's troubled separation, which occurred in 2021, returned to the media after she reported property violence, aggression and threats from her ex-husband, Raphael Alves Cabral. The country singer opened up when interviewed about the subject and thanked her fans for their love.

The singer Paula Fernandes also ended a long relationship. In September, during a wave of celebrity breakups, she revealed that her relationship with Rio Grande do Sul businessman Rony Cecconello had come to an end. They had been together since 2019.

Remember some controversies in the country world in 2023

Ana Castela and Gustavo Mioto

With the feat “Fronteira” booming on digital platforms, Ana Castela and Gustavo Mioto announced their relationship on Valentine's Day, June 12, but the romance began the year before. During a Boiadeira presentation at the TVZfrom Multishow, in November 2022, both exchanged compliments and since March of this year, they started to be seen together.

However, about three months after revealing their relationship, Gustavo Mioto announced that he was single, on September 25th. The news took fans by surprise and Ana Castela spoke out, stating that the relationship was never about marketing.

“Gu is wonderful, unique, he taught me how to love again. He is that person you want to have around at all times, and at no point was it marketing, around here there was only and still is a lot of love, it was true. We don't know about our future, so I'm going to pray and ask God to light our paths, and I hope that in the future these paths cross again.”, he said.

Just a month after the incident, the couple confirmed speculation from fans who suspected a reconciliation. “No one is made of iron, I’m back with my ex”, she wrote when publishing a video on TikTok in which she appears giving Mioto a peck. In recent days, the couple appeared on social networks to celebrate the scope of their musical partnership. At the time, “Fronteira” reached the Top 11 on Spotify Brazil.

Maiara

In April this year, Maiara's relationship, marked by back and forth with singer Fernando Zor, came to an end. Having been in a relationship since 2019, they ended up breaking up and getting back together 12 times, but the singer decided to leave her romance with the Sorocaba duo behind. In June, she published a series of photos with country singer Matheus Gabriel, during a hot air balloon ride and began her new relationship, which lasted four months.

Upon breaking up with Matheus in October, the singer made a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) and asked fans not to create conspiracies on the subject. “There was no betrayal. There were no fights. There was no big deal! But we decided to follow our lives along different paths.”, she declared, highlighting that the decision was not related to any old relationship.

Maraisa

Singer Maraisa got back together with businessman Fernando Mocó and spent Christmas Day with her fiancé. She had started the romance at the same time that her sister started dating Matheus Gabriel, in June, but at the end of last month she revealed that she was single. Now, taking advantage of the commemorative date, the singer made a relaxed video with Santa Claus to tell him the news.

“I don't give up, Santa Claus. Send me a boyfriend, a husband. I already want to get married and next time I want the child here,” she said. After being more specific and citing Mocó's characteristics, the businessman entered the scene and kissed his bride. Internet users reacted jokingly. “Is there still time to place my order with him?” asked one, “Give me this Santa Claus’s phone number”, asked another.

Paula Fernandes

Country singer Paula Fernandes announced, in September, that she had ended her four-year relationship with Rony Cecconello. They had met on a date planned by a mutual friend and according to the singer, it was “love at first sight”. Discreet about her relationship, she appeared on social media to ask for respect for both of their decisions.

“I have always believed that love is forever. It's no wonder that this has always been the main theme in my songs because I am love… I am made of love. I move forward believing that love is one of the greatest forces in the universe and that one day it will open up to me again.”

Lauana Prado

At the beginning of this month, Luana Prado told her followers that her relationship, also lasting four years, with Verônica Schulz had come to an end. Revealing that the decision came from both of them, the singer highlighted that she intends to have a friendship with her ex.

“Verônica Schulz and I are no longer together. It was a decision made some time ago and by mutual agreement, with a lot of love involved. We lived together for almost four very intense years, full of dedication and discovery. We were lovers, best friends and we have the objective of preserving ourselves to continue having a light and loving relationship, honoring and respecting the beautiful story we have written so far.”, she clarified.

She also emphasized that she would not speak about the matter in a “deliberate way” and asked for respect from her fans.

Naiara Azevedo's complaints

Although she divorced her ex-husband Raphael Alves Cabral, in 2021, the separation from Naiara Azevedo resurfaced. Last month, the artist denounced her ex-husband, Raphael Alves Cabral, with whom she was for 10 years, after suffering threats and physical attacks. After filing a complaint at the Civil Police of Goiás' Flagrant and Emergency Assistance Center for Citizens and being referred to the State Police Station for Specialized Assistance to Women (Deaem), she obtained a protective measure against her ex-partner.
