With a new vocalist, a new album and a new drummer, the band Linkin Park will be on Brazilian soil for a unique show in the country in November 15th . This will be the 10th time they perform in Brazil . The last one occurred in May 2017 two months before the death of Chester Bennington, original vocalist.
Linkin Park’s first visit to Brazil took place in 2004. At the show, the band Charlie Brown Jr. was the opening act.
In 2017, they performed at the Maximus festival. The performance was a week before the release of the band’s latest album with Chester Bennington, “One More Light”.
During the performance, the band members played classic hits from their discography, as well as songs from their new album. One of them was “Heavy,” a collaboration with singer Kiiara, which talks about Chester’s depression. The moment was posted on the band’s Facebook profile.
Chester Bennington committed suicide on July 20, 2017. His last performance with Linkin Park took place in Birmingham, England, on July 6 of the same year – just 14 days earlier.
Linkin Park’s new show in Brazil will take place in São Paulo, at the Allianz Parque stadium, on the same date as the release of the group’s new album, entitled “From Zero”. The show is included in the tour “From Zero World Tour” which will also pass through cities such as Paris, in France and Dallas, in the United States.
