In 2022, some series that reached streamings were successful and bombed in terms of repercussions, either because of their popularity or because of their controversial themes. Some that were already loved by the public continued to orbit among the most viewed and talked about.

Among the novelties of the year, “Wandinha” was one of the main highlights, breaking records on Netflix. The production produced by the Adams Family is directed by Tim Burton and surpassed one billion hours watched in less than a month and was already the second most watched English language series on the platform.

Another highlight of the platform was “Dahmer: An American Cannibal”, which surpassed one billion hours watched in two months.

Another title that caused something to talk about and dominated the internet was the second season of “The White Lotus” from HBO Max.

In Brazil, the documentary series “Brutal Pact: The Assassination of Daniella Perez”, revisited the crime that took place 30 years ago was one of the most talked about on social networks, especially from generations that did not know the story of the crime that ended the life of the daughter of soap opera author Gloria Perez.
