Remodeling at Telefónica: Cristina Burzako will direct Movistar +

Cristina Burzako is the new director of Movistar. The up to date Director of Marketing, Communications and Creativity of that platform has taken over Audiovisual Direction.

Burzako will be responsible for the day-to-day and will be supervised by Sergio Oslà ©, who has become CEO of Telefonica Spain, replacing MarÃa Jesús Almazor, new CEO of Tech Cybersecurity and Cloud. The Audiovisual Directorate has been created so that Oslà © is freed from direct management. The man from Bilbao has a commercial and technical profile that fits in with the preferences of Emilio Gayo, president of TelefonicaSpain, to incorporate him as CEO of the operator’s national business.

Oslà ©, formerly of the McKinsey consulting firm, is in charge of more areas within Telefónica, such as Commercial and Marketing of the Large Public and Companies, Network Operations and IT, and Territories and Transversal Processes and Simplification, in addition to control VÃdeo Spain, for which it was already responsible.

For its part, Burzako will manage the purchase of audiovisual rights and content production, in addition to coordinating the marketing of the entertainment offer with the business area. In her new role, the board of directors joins the Management Committee of Telefonica Spain.
