Renowned Due Cuochi opens trattoria version in Pinheiros

A stronghold of countless restaurants, Rua Ferreira de Araújo, in Baixo Pinheiros, gets another big house to complete the team. Last Wednesday (7), the restauratrices Ida Maria Frank and Virginia Jancsó opened a trattoria version of the already consolidated Due Cuochi – which has three units in the city.

With a more relaxed atmosphere than the other establishments, the new unit will have classics that are already beloved by Due Cuochi customers, but has more options to snack on and appetizers to share.

The idea of ​​the partners is that the Due Cuochi Trattoria be a space for the celebration of life. The environment has a spacious terrace at the back, with outdoor tables surrounded by trees that already existed on site and were preserved by the project – as well as the Surinam cherry tree at the front of the restaurant. There is also an enclosed area, where the hall is invaded by natural light.

Among the options to share and recipes to nibble on are the steak tartare canapés (R$48 – 10 units), the tuna canapés (R$44 – 10 units) and the bruschetta, including the arugula, tomato and cheese fontina (R$49) and salmon with Sicilian lemon (R$52).

In the main ones, the menu brings some news, such as the dish of the day (R$ 75), which comes with a salad and varies daily. Among the pastas and risottos, the cinque terre risotto, with shrimp, pesto and arugula (R$126), the gnocchi with rump ragu (R$72) and the Pici de Caccio & Pepe – an artisan pasta served with taglioni in butter and sage (R$72) – were created especially for the new address. Other novelties are the house-style lasagna, made with crepe dough, covered with rump, spinach and tomato ragu and gratinated with gorgonzola (R$ 79) and, in the section dedicated to meat, poultry and fish, the filet alla parmigiana with taglioni (R$89). To round off the experience with sweetness, the new suggestions are the crunchy pear with cream ice cream (R$42) and the chocolate crème brûlée (R$39).

The public can also find classic Due Cuochi recipes such as the free-range egg yolk ravioli in butter and sage with fragrant spinach in black truffle sauce and the shoulder of lamb with potato balls and broccoli – dishes that are also popular in other units and not could be missing from the trattoria menu.
