Young startup Biliti Electric has announced plans to showcase its new GMW Taskman electric tricycle with SmartSwapp battery replacement technology in the US.
The company claims the GMW Taskman is the first electric tricycle to feature such modular technology. Replacing the battery supposedly takes only 1 minute. The tricycle has already been tested by companies in the UK, Japan, UAE, India, EU countries and so on.
The tricycle’s power reserve is stated to be 177 km. According to the manufacturer, this is a last mile commercial delivery vehicle. Interestingly, 177 km are indicated in the press release and on the Biliti Electric website, while the company says 80 km on the GMW Taskman website.
The same situation is with the carrying capacity. The company’s website says about 680 kg, and on the website of the tricycle itself, an indicator of 300 kg is indicated. It is quite possible that we are simply talking about different modifications.
The tricycle’s website also mentions a 4.5 kW engine, acceleration up to 40 km / h and an on-board computer with access to the cloud service.
Dimensions are 2700 x 1280 x 1740 mm. The ground clearance reaches 160 mm.
