In an interview with CNN this Sunday (3), the deputy Danilo Forte (União-CE), who will be the rapporteur of the PEC on Benefits, anticipated that the report should be voted on by the Special Committee until Thursday (7).
The PEC was approved by the Senate last Thursday (30), provides for the recognition of the state of emergency in 2022 and releases R$ 41.25 billion in aid.
The deputy also said that at the beginning of this week he will hold meetings with opposition and government leaders to discuss the text.
“There are some demands that we are analyzing about the need, or not, of decreeing a state of emergency… or if the spending ceiling law has space to support the demands”.
In addition to expanding Auxílio Brasil to at least BRL 600 per month and the gas voucher to around BRL 120 every two months, the text creates an aid of BRL 1,000 for truck drivers and an aid that has not yet been defined. taxi drivers, these measures would be valid until December 31 of this year.
As expected, the matter will be attached to another proposal that was already being processed by the House, the PEC on Biofuels. The objective is to gain time and approve the text more quickly, without the need for it to also be voted on in parliamentary committees.
