The 4th Police Station (Center) identified the person in the record documents of the house that collapsed in March, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, causing the death of a person.
According to the chief delegate, Mário Jorge Ribeiro, the alleged responsible for the property will be summoned to give testimony later this week. The identification was only possible after the Rio de Janeiro City Hall to provide the Civil Police the documentation regarding the property, located at Senador Pompeu Street, corner with Visconde da Gávea Street.
The house, which previously housed a candy store, was empty at the time of collapse. The car where victim was was buried, two other vehicles were also hit, and posts fell with the impact of the fall.
The Civil Police continues to investigate the causes of collapse. The testimony of the person appearing in the documents may clarify the circumstances involving the property, including issues related to its maintenance and conservation.
