Restaurant flooding daily becomes Thailand’s newest attraction

“If life gives you lemons, make lemonade” is the phrase put into practice by the owner of the Chaopraya Antique Café, located near Bangkok, Thailand, who, after thinking about closing the premises due to the constant rains and floods, ended up taking advantage of it to the situation, offering its guests a gastronomic experience in the middle of the water.

The only thing he needed was to fix his furniture with some screws and wait for the tide to rise, so that the diners could enjoy their drinks and desserts in the middle of the waves and nature.

In social networks, the images of the restaurant have been viralized, which turned a problem into an unforgettable experience for its visitors.

It should be noted that the owner of the place maintains specific rules for its visitors, who must meet a certain age and height to use the facilities and avoid accidents that could bring the waves of the sea. In turn, the owner hired lifeguard experts for added security.

Currently, the restaurant maintains a schedule from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and the site can serve up to 100 people in a single day.

It is worth mentioning that in Thailand, floods do not usually give respite to the inhabitants, who are constantly affected by losing all their assets. Fortunately, this man knew how to take advantage of the situation and hopes to adapt more implements to his premises to provide greater security to his guests, such as the installation of safety berries and life jackets.

On the other hand, the employees of the place say that they are happy with their work, because it is something totally new for them and “sailing” among the waves to take the order of the clients has become an experience that tests their balance and patience.
