Among the current residents are the actress and former Schedule Iris Bruzzi, 90, (“Beautiful”), singer Flora Purim, 83, and actors Rui Resende, 87, (“Roque Santeiro”), Jaime Leibovitch, 77, (“soul mate”) and Silvio Pozzato, 67, (“Pantanal”). Recently, actor Marcos Oliveira, 68, (the pixture of “The Great Family”), was thrilled to be received in a home in the organization.
According to the artists’ retreat website, the site has already served more than six thousand people. The land has 15 thousand square meters in more than 50 houses built, with a structure with cafeteria, theater, cinema, library, pool and beauty salon.
Artists who move to the site are entitled to health plan, medical, psychological care and a daily nursing team. Among the activities they can perform while living there are yoga, reading, swimming, watching movies, practicing theater and others.
Various personalities of the art world mobilize to help the artists’ retreat, such as Marieta Severo, who often shows in their social networks the donations he makes to build new houses and improvements in spaces; The television director Boni, who donated the profit of his book “The Ba Side B” to the institution; and Rafael Portugal, who has already opened special shows of shows to collect donations for residents.
