While the robbers (Olofsson and his friend Jan Olsson) were holding hostages in the building, they developed a trusting relationship with them. And when the police demanded that the criminals surrender, the hostages even began to protect them. In addition, the incident lasted about five days and was the first criminal event in Sweden to be covered live on television. For the serial adaptation, they invited Stephen Moffat, known for such projects as Doctor Who and Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch. The main roles this time went to Theo James and Leslie Rose.
