Russia has imposed restrictions on merchant navigation in the Azov Sea, which forms the northern part of the Black Sea and joins it via the Kerch Strait, according to five grain sources cited by Reuters, following the widespread Russian invasion. in Ukraine.
Russia, the world’s largest exporter of grain, is transporting its grain mainly from Black Sea ports, the agency said, adding that the Sea of Azov “hosts” shallower ports of smaller capacity.
