Ricardo Braga, voice double of Roberto Carlos, dies at the age of 73

The singer Ricardo Braga known for being lightest of voice of the singer ROBERTO CARLOS died at the age of 73, this Thursday (27).

The news of his death was shared on his social networks in a joint publication with a label, which lamented the death, but did not report the cause.

“Today, the world of music has lost a brilliant person. Our dear Ricardo Braga left us, but his legacy will be eternal with his songs that have transformed and thrilled us all. Rest in peace our dear friend Ricardo Braga,” he said.

Born in Mogi das Cruzes, in São Paulo, Ricardo Braga adopted this name in honor of Roberto Carlos, who had been a fan since his teens.

According to information from Spotify, where he has over 20,000 monthly listeners, the singer surprised the public with the similarity of his voice with that of his idol, and therefore always received requests to sing songs from the king, thus starting his career as “cover” of the artist.

In 1978, with the fever of the young Guarda commanding the time, Ricardo released the album “Roberto Collection”, which was huge success.
