Ricky Martin: His nephew accuses him of incest and domestic violence

Big trouble seems to have arisen for him Ricky Martin, as he is accused by his nephew of domestic violence and incest. In fact, according to what Marca reports, the singer’s brother, Eric, revealed how the person who denounced him is his 21-year-old nephew, Denis Yadiel Sanchez.

Sanchez recently identified Martin, his uncle, as the alleged perpetrator of the attack. “Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with mental health issues”Marty Singer, Martin’s attorney, told Fox News Digital. “Ricky Martin, of course, never had – and never would have – any sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew. This idea is not only untrue, but also disgusting.”

The singer continued: “We all hope this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But, most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed once the judge considers the facts.”

According to Sanchez, Martin “exerted physical and psychological attacks” against him. The Marca website reported that the family members were in a seven-month relationship, which ended two months ago. Sanchez is reportedly the son of Martin’s half-sister.

According to Marca, Martin continued to reach out to Sanchez, resulting in the filing of the Puerto Rico sanctions on July 1.

According to the order brought to light by the newspaper El Vocero, Sanchez claimed that Martin did not accept their breakup and was seen wandering around his home at least three times. The 21-year-old also claimed that Martin had “consumed large amounts of alcohol and drugs”.

The singer’s lawyers immediately denied the accusations, while they prepare the defense line against Sanchez. It is noteworthy that a recent complaint is pending against Sanchez from a woman whom he allegedly harassed with threats.

According to the publication, Puerto Rico’s incest laws could send Martin to prison for 50 years if the allegations are found to be true. The singer is expected to return to Puerto Rico on July 21 for his trial.

Martin seems to be moving on with his life as he was spotted on the set of ‘Mrs. American Pie” in Los Angeles on Friday. Following the filing of the restraining order, Ricky Martin denied the allegations in a tweet.

“The protection order issued against me is based on completely false allegations, so I will respond through the legal process with the facts and dignity that characterizes me,” he wrote on social media. “Because this is an ongoing legal matter, I cannot make any detailed statements at this time. I am grateful for the countless messages of solidarity and receive them with all my heart.”

Earlier this month, Martin was sued for $3 million by his former manager, Rebecca Drucker, for unpaid commissions – and legal documents say it “protected” the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer from a charge that “could have ended his career.”
