Ringo Starr cancels two US shows after catching a cold

The singer Ringo Starr 84, has canceled two scheduled shows in the United States after catching a cold. The news was shared on social media, where more details were provided to fans.

The performances were scheduled to take place alongside his All Starr Band in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday (24) and at Radio City Music Hall in New York, on Wednesday (25). “Ringo caught a cold and after consulting a doctor was advised to cancel the two remaining shows and rest,” the publication quotes in an excerpt.

According to the note, ticket holders will be notified by email and will be automatically refunded. However, it will also be possible to contact the point of purchase to obtain a refund.

“As always, Ringo and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and look forward to seeing them soon.”

The former Beatle and his bandmates hit the road on September 7 in San Diego as part of their fall tour, playing 10 shows before Starr fell ill. This month, the band visited American cities such as Los Angeles, Washington and the last show was in Niagara Falls on Sunday (22).
