The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police arrested this Wednesday morning (20), in São Paulo, a 43-year-old man who killed his own wife with several stab wounds during sexual intercourse.
The crime took place in February this year, in the location known as Maurimárcia, district of Piabetá, which is in the city of Magé, in the Metropolitan Region of Rio.
After about a month of investigation, the agents managed to locate the criminal at the home of his mother's relatives, in a community in the city of Osasco. He was being wanted for the crime of femicide.
According to the Civil Police, the man identified as José Ernando da Silva, killed his partner after ingesting cocaine.
He would be suspicious of betrayal. The two were living in separate houses due to the couple's arguments. Until he decides to find her.
According to the police, on the day of the crime, after ingesting drugs, he went to the kitchen, took a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the abdominal region.
The woman, Maria Celma Honório Pereira Silva, 51 years old, was taken to the Adão Pereira Nunes Municipal Hospital, located in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense. Two days later she died. She had two sons and a granddaughter.
The arrest of the criminal was made by police officers from the Piabetá Police Station (66th DP) and had the support of the São Paulo Civil Police.
