The Minister of Justice and Public Security Flávio Dino guaranteed reinforcement of R$ 100 million to Rio Grande do Norte, and stated that the crisis has an “invisible” side.
Since March 14, actions orchestrated by criminal factions have caused terror to the population, with fires and shots against public buildings, vehicles, businesses and even homes.
The actions are in retaliation for prison conditions, indicate police investigations.
The custody of prisoners is among the reasons given by criminals for the series of attacks in the state. The state has already confirmed at least 300 criminal attacks since the beginning of the actions.
