Rio dawned cloudy this Sunday (10). There is a possibility of rain at any time of the day, but in the early hours of the morning only light rain reached the central region of the state capital and lasted a few minutes.
According to information from Climatempo, the minimum is at 22ºC and the maximum at 27ºC, which can be classified as a Sunday with unstable weather. The estimate is that it rains around 5 mm on average across the city.
In Petrópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio, the Civil Defense even issued a moderate to heavy rain alert for yesterday evening (9) and early this Sunday (10). During this period, measurements recorded almost 40 mm/h of rainfall in some districts, but without occurrences.
There was a record of rain in the districts of Itaipava, Pedro do Rio and Posse. Civil Defense maintains an on-call team to respond to calls.
